FYNBOS INCENSE CONES – aromatics-on-the-go – aka “Amabele” aka Boobies – named after our magnificent Queen Protea, Protea magnifica, our FynBos Incenses heroine. 

She is also a reminder to all, women and men and our animals please, to check your ‘boobies’ monthly and esp. during October, Breast cancer awareness month. “Boobies” are synonymous with nourishment at all ages and levels of bodymindspirit.     

Incense has been made and used all over the world, from varying ingredients, since the earliest days of civilization to create pleasing aromas, insect repellents, medicinally, use in religious practices and for celebrations and ceremonies.

FynBos Incense has updated and refined this heritage skill to create beautiful, artisanal handmade, with love, FynBos Incense cones, aka “boobies” celebrating our auspicious indigenous Fynbos Kingdom of South Africa, through using fynbos essential oils and fynbos botanicals combined with other eco-friendly and sustainably sourced base ingredients.

Our FynBos Incenses are hand-crafted from eco-friendly, re-generatively and sustainably sourced and gathered Fynbos flowers and leaves, combined with essential oils, and Rooibos tea – sourced from the unique UNESCO Heritage sites of Cederberg , cinnamon, and Table Mountain spring water.

Packaging is made from eco-friendly, non-toxic sustainable and renewable plant-based material resources which can be composted as they are biodegradable. ORASA -Organic Recycling Association of SA certified as green or organic waste, breaking down into its original materials of water, CO^2, and plant material, which can assist in enhancing soil quality. Carbon neutral material processing including printing.
